Good Mystery but too scary for my little daughter

Like any other Priyadarshan movie, I expected Bhool Bhulaiyaa (BB in short) to be a hilarious comedy (and that’s the reason I decided to watch a movie in theatre after a long time).

However, this movie turned out to be good mix of mystery and comedy. I must admit that till the movie revealed the main culprit (that I won’t reveal here, for the benfit of people who have not seen the movie and want to enjoy it), it was difficult to guess who was acting as the "Bhoot".

With Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav working in a Priyadarshan movie, you can expect loads of laughter. However, this movie is not a pure comedy in that sense (comedy of confusion, that is trademark of Priyadarshan). There are some humorous moments but those are shadowed by the great mystery that the movie turns out to be.

Watching the movie in a modern theatre (with surround sound) can be a real pleasure as you can hear those scary sounds made by the "Bhoot" in this movie.

One piece of advice - "Don’t take your little kids (especially under 3 years of age) to watch this movie". My little daughter (2 years) was scared when the bhoot started creating all the noises in the theatre and I and my wife had to pacify her for the entire movie.

Overall, it is a good movie. Not a completely mad comedy but a good mix of comedy and mystery. Definitely worth watching.
