I am working at a software company in Bangalore (not in software development). I came to this city looking for a break after searching for a job for almost 6 months. This city gave me a job and a reason to love it. I have travelled and lived in many cities across India, including Delhi, Nainital, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Jamshedpur. I am not a very adventurous person but love travelling and exploring new places. I work for a living but it also bores me because I hardly get any leave to travel and see new places. Hindi movies, songs, travelling, following financial markets and consumer affairs.

They are well known thugs. If you complain about failed transactions, their attitude is very casual as if customer made a mistake by transacting on their website / app. The way they do fraud is to trap the customer by crediting money in his wallet (and not back to card or account). Could be a defective piece. If it is still under warranty then you could try their service center (if there is one existing). If you have purchased from site like Flipkart, you could ask them for an exchange because they usually provide exchange within certain number of days.

All the manufacturers ask dealers to fill some minimum fuel in the vehicle so that customers can drive some distance before filling up again. In case of cars, it is usually 5 liters. While I have seen many committed Subway customers (including my brother, who eats at subway almost 4-5 times week), somehow I never liked the taste or the value proposition (BTW, I also don't like McD). I feel some of the local cafes do a much better job with taste and prices.

Probably the equivalent in India is PIL (public interest litigation), but that may need some coordinated action from several dissatisfied customers. The level of customer service is constantly falling. I think it is better to file a case in Consumer Court.
