Big Bazar - Old Madras Road

I just read a review on BB abd decided to add my own two bits of info.

I go to BB on Old Madras Road as its the nearest for me. Its suposedly their biggest store in Bangalore.

I saw there during the recent "Sell your Junk" campagn. And must say the junk processwas very good. I bought a computer table and lots of clothes and dress materials , some plastics some vessels etc. In all it was worth it esp the plastics vessells etc. The computer table and general furniture seems to be manufactired in South Korea and am not exactly thrilled by it.

The storable food items are always worthwhile. Cos the simplest reason I used to go to Yeshwantpur market to buy provisions in  bulk to last us at home for typically 3 to 5 months. Now I get more or less the same pricing and quality here.

Plastics and kitchen vessels are equally good. And they do have a good range of branded products too.  Im no fan of their clothes range cos they sell mainly Pantaloon based clothes for men but the other stuff for kids etcseemed good enough. I dont necessarily go by brand cos I have select brand choices and live by them only.

In clothes and hosiery stuff - kurta pajama , fancy shirts, pant lengths, blankets, pilllows, dress materials. jeans were ok they had Levi’s and didnt offer any discounts on it

In food items go for the entire product range

Tulsi - medical shop again a good range is avaialable as good as your local chemist.

The range of bath and personal hygiene products is available

Furniture is good but mostly particle board based so I will not recomend the furniture but its cheap and has good looks and design too. So havea look if your on a budget spend.

Electronics - the  mobile store is good rest is bakwas

They sell a brand called Koryo which frankly I didnt find appealing.

The best part was the freebies which come with your purchases.

The sales keep changing every hour if need be. I bought 6 shirts and 3 kurta pajama sets and the stuff is of  very good quality. Im not saying its branded but still worth the money spent.

If any regrets its the parking and billling and checkout. Both of which seem insufficient !! Cant blame the management cos thats how the crowds come there.

"Overall worth your money" logic
