I have had DVD rental accounts with Seventymm and now with Bigflix. Seventymm has now moved on to selling too many things on their site, hence I decided to try Bigflix. I took a 3 disc a day plan where in I can order 3 DVDs at a time.
Bigflix has the most pathetic service in any of the service provider companies. It is at their mercy that I may receive or may not receive a DVD. I had many situations where in my online account states that certain DVDs are delivered, but actually I would not have received them. It is not necessary that I receive the DVDs only from the selection I have put in my queue. Its their wish. Call up the customer care number, poor chaps do not know what to do. All they say is, " we will forward the complaint to senior department and they will call back".
I have had many instances where in DVDs are not delivered and the online account states that its delivered. The guys will deliver 2 DVDs and the account updates that 3 Discs are delivered. Since I wont be home to check the delivery, couldnt question them at all. All of a sudden, they stopped delivering DVDs at all. I called to complain about the issue on Oct 12, 2011. The lady took my complaint and promised some one will call back. waited for 2 days and again called them (mean while I am not receiving any more DVDs). Again another lady took the complaint and promised some one will call back. Now, this was just the starting. For the next 2 weeks, I had to continue calling them. But no one ever called me back as they promised. I asked for a refund of the rest of the amount, they do not know what to do. Got the same reply, we will forward your complaint. Now after a month, I got another set of DVDs.
No Idea how much longer are they going to deliver. It was 3 month plan. 1 month went just like that in complaints. So I got the service only for 2 months. I think every customer oriented business of Reliance is like this.
I will never ever renew my subscription with Bigflix. Will try to stay away from everything related to Reliance. Seventymms service is 200 times better than these guys. If for some reason the disc is not delivered, they automatically extend your subscription date. Also, you receive alerts as soon as the Disc is delivered. The delivery guys too are prompt.
SO my Advise, never ever subscribe to BIGLFIX. Pathetic company with no idea what service means.
