A Perfect Movie (I am not Bluffing)

Bluffmaster …

I am not Bluffing. I am really not Bluffing and I mean it again as I am really not Bluffing. The Movie is Excellent and has also been made in a different way. I personally loved it but am basically cannot predict as how the public will accept this movie. I feel Abhishek has started giving good performance in all his late movies.

My Personal Review.-

Bluffmaster is really a complete film. The movie has all the ingredients and in right qty for a successful movie. Right amount of comedy, A perfect suspense (Could be.), and a New and an unusual drama. It’s also one of the first Indian movies to have a soundtrack. The songs have also not been recorded specially for the film. They have also incorporated music from all over the world. They have European, Lebanese and all kinds of music and all this have been translated in Hindi. It is pretty unique. Abhishek has sung a song for the film. I feel you definitely will never know what happens in the end. Abhishek is in full control of the movie till the end and Ritesh Steel the show in the last part. This is the most I can tell you of this movie as I wish you watch and enjoy the movie.

Review as per Site:-

Roy (Abhishek Bachchan) is a professional conman, who has raised his work to the level of an art. The only true thing he has is his love for Simmi (Priyanka Chopra) - someone who is so rooted, honest and sincere, that he can’t bring himself to tell her the reality of who he is. But when his past catches up with him, she cannot forgive him for the deceit their relationship is built on. He loses her forever. That’s when Aditya Srivastav (Riteish Deshmukh) enters the picture. He is the counterpoint to everything that Roy is - as frantic as Roy is calm, as dumb as Roy is smart, as messy and untidy as Roy is smooth. They have only one thing in common - Aditya is a conman too. At least he thinks of himself as one. In Roy’s book, he’s an embarrassment. But one that won’t go away! Despite himself, or maybe to take his mind off Simmi, he agrees to teach Dittu the rules of the game. In that process, he melts and warms up to the boyish charm of his `student’. That’s when his world is spun upside down - he is forced to face facts that are a slap in the face. Suddenly Roy, who prides himself on being able to cheat anyone and anything, is pushed into a corner from where there is no exit. For the man who wears so many masks, he is now left with no alternative but to take them all off and finally reveal himself - if he is still there.

Now before I end some information about the producer and director of this movie.

Producer of the Movie “Bluffmaster” Mr. Ramesh Sippy.

Ramesh Sippy has till date Directed extra ordinary movies in Bollywood. As per my knowledge in 1968 he was Executive Producer in the Movie Brahmachari . He latter Directed many movies along with his Father and some with different Directors. Some of the great movies are Andaz (1971), Seeta aur Geeta (1972) The Mega movie Sholay (1975). Shaan (1980), Shakti (1982), Saagar (1985). There were also some movies which I feel did average business or flopped in the box office as Bhrastachar (1989), Akayla (1991) Zameen (1995) Zamaana Deevana (1995). He had also directed a TV Serial called Bunivaad in 1987 made on the book written by Manohar Shyam Joshi .

Director of the Movie “Bluffmaster” Mr. Rohan Sippy.

Rohan Sippy son of Ramesh Sippy made his Directorial Debut with Kuch Naa Kaho. Kuch Naa Kaho. In spite of an interesting storyline, the movie ended up as an average fare partly because of insipid dialogues that fail to convey the complexity of the romance between the leading characters. The Movie had some catchy music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Rohan with his father has now made his Second movie Called Bluffmaster.

Bluffmaster Music is Extra ordinary With 13 Tracks in the Movie. The UK band Trickbaby along with musicians like Arash, Aneela Mirza, Sameeruddin and Vishal Shekhar, this 13 track ’Bluffmaster’ appears to be one rocking parties ahead.

Before I bought the CD one of my friend told me the music of Bluffmaster only comprise of remixed versions of yesteryear chartbusters and no original compositions. I felt after Listening to the Album that’s not the case I found out of 13 tracks, there are only 4 tracks which are from old Hindi movies while a couple more have some brief samples only from the oldies.
