BSNL Broadband is GOOD as long as it works. What I mean by GOOD is good bandwidth, seemless downloads, and unlimited(my plan). What I mean by as long as it works is(1) The Landline should be UP, there should NOT be any noise in the Landline connection.
But in my personal experience in my locality BSNL Landline is highly unreliable. It often keeps going out of order, or heavy disturbance and noise in the phone.
The worst part about BSNL is thier service. Basically they are NOT intelligent, intuitive. Purely clerical. They just ask you questions and try to match it in thier database and read out the answers.
To consumers: If you are planning BSNL Broadband, think about how good thier Landline connection in the neighborhood is(for eg: if your area is under constant digging by CMC). If the landline is of good quality/service and if your area line man is of good name in terms of service you can go for BSNL broadband.
IF it is NOT then still you are NOT left with great choices in Bangalore at least. You can go for the minimum tariff plan of BSNL.
For BSNL and India it is a long way to go. The pity is quality, technology and professional service is NOT available even for people who are willing to PAY for it.
