Purchased a Hewitt-Packer ZT1135 lap top. It came with a$100 rebate and a 30 day price guarantee. I purchased it on line. The’bean-counters’ figure you’ll never jump through all the hoops to get the rebate. Even if you do, they send you a letter in 6 weeks saying it doesn’t apply to your laptop. I’d never purchase anything with a rebate from Hewitt-Packer nor a price guarantee, as they are only written words, from a company that not to be counted on, as discovered by my own experience.
It says I must type a pro for the computer. Well, it has turned out to be an excellent computer, It is very light weight which is what I was looking for, however, when you feel that you’ve been lied to, cheated out of money, it is difficult to see the good, when your pocketbook has been ripped off.
