I was thrilled when I decided to buy a car for my self as I was able to arrange a substaintial amt n had shortlisted ZEN as my 1st car(decided to go for used car for initial yrs before buyin a new1). did a lil research on zen and went to Popular car bazaar(Andheri), my biggest mistake till now. der I saw dis zen in a corner which seemed perfect the askin price was 95k, it was a 1998 model n I wanted a carb engine so I bought the car right der my 2nd mistake(shud’ve brought my own mech to assist) I bought it fr 88k(including transfer) I was given a xerox of RC book and Insurance and promised transfer in 25days, I told dem I wud gve dem my details later, everything was wrkin and every1 in the showroom was goody goody,
The prob startd when I went for a drive in d eve with my family, the clutch was gonner n so was the AC and der was huge opening under the back seat of the car(not to mention the wipers wrnt wrkin), but still I persistd with the car my(3rd mistake), after changing the clutch plate was shocked to notice dat the AC condensor coil was broken olover, still thought it was a ok, n got it replaced. then the trouble started with the electrical things regular replacmnt of fuse was needed n aftr driving for sumdays, realised dat the rear wheel bearings were worn out, (by dis time I had spent a nice 25k on d car).
By this time my patience ran out I called the salesman and he cooly told me wteve u spent is ur look out and offerd me 70k(dis aftr spendin 25k+85k d initiall cost). so I thought it wud be bette to sell it off to sum1 else(as d car had lost its value to me). finnally I got sum1 intrested in buyin my car so I rushed to Popular for d original RC dey again reminded me dat it was der policy to transfer the vehicle demself. I had no choice but to gve dem the documnts aftr confirming dat I dnt hve to pay nethin wd der representitive Mrs. Rani Sethi,
Finally I came to knw dat the papers had been transferd so went der to collect it and to my horror d lady said I wud hve to pay 1500 as transfer fees dis is bcoz I gave my papers late(belive me dis was like payin a penelty) suddenly the lady showed me her Evil side being extra rude dismissin all my woes as I DNT CARE and now dey r blackmailin me dat if I dnt pay I wont get my papers.
soo at dis point of time dey leave me no option but to choose legal help against dem. I belive der wud be many ppl who wud’ve had similar experince wd dem. as I think dis is the only way dey earn der bread n butter by Cheating people.
