Looking for value for money and good, tasty food then Cafe Royal is where to be.
We are quite regular there and adore the Sizzlers, fish fingers and garlic bread. The portions being large, it is safer to go there in a group and share.
The ambience is pleasing with posters of yesteryear stars....not ’’cool’’ enough for my college going teenager!!!!
The music is not ’’in’’ or ’’hep’’...opinion of my daughter!!
We felt it was appropriate...can’t please everyone, can you?
However, just once we had a waiter who took a wrong order and insisted that we had ordered the dish. When we asked him to take it back, he created quite a scene. Finally, the Manager came, apologised and the dish went back!
