If you want to check your own patience please have an account in Canara Bank and try visiting them for any service and I bet you wouldnt have seen such "LAZY ASSES" in your life. First of all they act as if they are doing a favor by speaking to customers and to top with are their ARROGANCE. I have an account with icici bank as my salary account for more than seven years, NEVER visited the bank and am addicted to all its services and now I feel 100 years back after opening an account with Canara Bank.
First of all they have separate applications for opening an account, for cheque book, Debit card, Internet banking (Net Banking at its worst. Eh!!) . its been four months since my account is opened and the net banking is yet to be activated. These banks only fit for people in 50+ and not definitely for present generation particularly who are in IT sector.
I am not sure if at all they have a customer care number, but I found a toll free number on the debit card and called them to inquire, and the answer was "call another number after specific time" (forget 24/7).
