Which one is right for you?

When I bought my first cell phone I really knew nothing about them. All I knew was I wanted to be able to have one to call home and check on things while I was gone or to use in an emergency in the car or if the house phones were down.

My first one was a simple black and white and all I ever tried to learn how to do on it was make a call. I never received one because I did not give out my number. I paid less than a hundred us dollars and on a pay as you go plan where you take the phone in and have the store add minutes every other month.

The phone gave me great service and it is still in use today as I gave it to someone else just starting with a cell.

My birthday was last month and I had been trying to decide what I wanted to get myself.

I was reading tons of cell phone reviews and one really caught my fancy so I started calling around and it was not available in my area so back to the drawing board and more reviews.

The next one I seen that struck my fancy was available.I am not going to name any brand as I am saving that for another review.

My first piece of advise is to know what you want in a phone. What features are important to you, how much you want to spend and do a lot of research first.

Everyone will want different features.

I wanted a flip down phone to make it smaller and easier to fit anywhere and it has a clock with date that reads across the outside.

It does not have an extended antenea to get in my way.

It is color and has various ring tones, wallpapers, icons and so on.

You can access the internet with it when away and waiting on an important e-mail.

The dial pad lights up which makes it much easier to read the numbers.

It also includes a camera and many, many features. I wanted it all so I don’t have to buy another for some time and this one was around 350.00 US dollars.

So just be sure of what you want and get as close to it as possible.

Make sure you ask about the battery time as that to me is important. I don’t want to have to charge it too often.

By the way do you know the more often you charge a cell phone the more you will have to keep charging it and wear your battery out faster so do not leave in the charger and only charge when really needed.
