The fact that you are on this web site means that you need feedback and sugestions from real people, and not base you decision of buying based upon the misleading advertisements of Hitachi.
To me this is a substandard product with simply non existant after sales service. The sales are incentive driven so you will get a lot of attemdtion while buying after that when the product fails - which it will within a few months of buying- no body will even reply to your e mails or talk to you.
The out sourced customer care call centre will take your complaint as many times as you wish to waste your time and energy and would do nothing about it. The nexus between the dealer and company service staff is impossible to break as compnay has no service engineers of its own. You will be exploited and blackmailed for life for having taken a wrong decission.
Probably the only AC which has NO REPEAT clients. I would actually recommend a air cooler instead, as it will at least give you peace of mind. After buying a Hitachi, you will have neither a cool room nor a cool mind! The Japanese are not even aware of all these issues and considering China as a better market than India, not knowing the resons why Hitachi has failed in India. Just because of its peopple and the selction of dealers.
