I love my mother. She is my best friend. Although I love my friends and other family, sometimes I have more fun with her than anyone. She is my rock, my comfort, my listener, my guide.my role model.
I love to shower her with gifts even though I know she doesn’t expect them. Above all, the greatest gifts are not material things, but they are sweet. They are a good way to show someone you care.
My mother and I are just alike and share just about every likeness the same. We both love flowers, and the victorian era. We are much alike.
There is a neat little story behind that: My name is Marita. And my mother’s name is Mary. Well, in spanish my name means’Little Mary’. She was not aware of this until years later when I found out at school. Without knowing, she named me after herself(as well as my grandma and an aunt of mine). It really is a perfect fit b/c I really am the’Little version’ of her. LOL. I look like her, act like her, think like her, learn from her, etc/ even though I get most my onriness from my dad.( I am not always onry:).) I have a childlikeness even though I am very mature at my 21 years of age. LOL.

One of the greatest gifts I give to my family are my poems. I am a writer. Every year on special days or on’just because’ days, I will write poetry to my family and friends from my heart. These kinds of gifts are the greatest of all= from the heart. That is what will make them the most happy!
