Before you plan to go for a Car service at Chowgule’s Panjim
Service Station, think twice. There are many other service stations in the
vicinity. If you are at equidistance to Margao and Panjim, it is advisable to
take your car to Chowgule’s Margao rather then Panjim.
Read on my experience which I narrated to the CIL, Panjim
service station on 3rd free service of my car. The best part is
except for free scratch on bumper, I paid for every thing else. They charge you 2% extra for using your credit card too.

Keny.

Hi,
There was no intention to post the enclosed feedback form.
But a follow-up call made me to pen down some of my thoughts. I did not feel it
right to write only negative about the service offered to me for my 3rd
free service at Chowgule’s Panjim.
First and foremost when the service engineer mentioned the
expected time required for service flabbergasted me. I checked my vehicle at 10
AM and ETD was 5 PM ?. But when I mentioned I have more appointments later in
the day he agreed to deliver by 12 PM.
At 11.30 when I reached to pick up vehicle, it was waiting at
bay 5 to move to next bay for wheel alignment. There were 7 vehicles parked in
zig-zag in the passage. When I asked one of the service engineers he sighted
the leave of drivers today is creating these problems. But I felt it was a
blessing that drivers were on leave as they would have added for congestion.
After some shunting of vehicles My service engineer Mr. Shailesh
managed to push my vehicle for alignment which lasted no more then 10 minutes
but then there was no way the vehicle can be moved for washing. The only option
to take the vehicle to washing ramp was to airlift it :) . The washing centre
boys were waiting for the vehicle to come to ramp. I feel CIL should hand them
a bucket and a tumbler instead of a hose that can make them reach where the
vehicle is. Just before seeing the place for the last time I was about to tell
the mechanic to check for the tire pressure. But just then I saw a mechanic
using the machine for depressurizing instead of pressurizing the tire of
another car. Pathetic !!. I felt out of place.
The service engineer requested to get the vehicle again for
cleaning on some other day and mentioned the credit on the bill. I feel my car
is safer to let it get cleaned in rain then at your station.
It was only for Shailesh Chitale who was very helpful and
considerate and another Shailesh, the Supervisor, I was hesitant to write this
feedback. I will never ever recommend your Panjim service station to anyone.
Your Margao station is considerably better.
BTW, thanks for a beautiful scratch given to my vehicle on
the bumper during the so called service. It looks nice on otherwise perfectly
clean vehicle. I will treasure it.

Keny
