This is the first time Im writing about my experience with Citibank. I have still not read any of the reviews of other customers. Probably I’ll do it once I finish writing my review. (I’ve credit card account with Citibank, HSBC, ICICI, SBI, Barclays, and Deutcha)
To start with I was a very dissatisfied customer of Citibank Suvidha account back in 2003 when I had a salary account with them. I once shouted at the customer service agent at Citibank and threw the suvidha card. Again I was forced to have a suvidha account at my new company and I found the service was excellent when compared to other banks. It was me who had misunderstood Citibank!!.
I got my first Indian oil silver credit card in 2005 with a credit limit of 22000/- and very soon I got one more gold card with a credit limit of 50000/-. now my credit limit is 130000/-. I have used my credit card at many occasions and made repayments with interest and tax.
Since I always make sure that payments reaches them on time , I never had any trouble with Citibank.
Recently I took a personal loan of Rs 50000/- . It was really a good
Experience with the customer service agent.
I have many times taken cash out of my card when ever there was emergency. I
have taken cash up to Rs 40000/- . I never had any issue with there billing
system.
The customer service agents are extremely friendly to me when compared to other
banks.
Once I droped my check one day late. I was billed late payment fee . I immediately
called citibank and told them to remove that fee as I was a good customer. Even
the agent politely removed the late payment fee from my account.
I love the slogan ............Citi LETS GET IT DONE!!!
When it comes to other banks they don’t give toll free no, agents at ICICI bank
are very lazy and they always make us wait for no reason.
whereas Citibank has toll free no to call.
