Visited Club Cabana Resort a couple of months back as a part of corporate event family outing This resort is located in the hills of Devanahalli, just 25 kms from the city of Bangalore. At first glance, seeing the resort and its picturesque surroundings we thought it would be an amazing place to relax and enjoy, however, we were quite wrong. The day spent in this resort turned out to be a huge disappointment and totally wasted.
We reached the place at around 10 am in the morning and were quite surprised to see that the resort was quite crowded, even on a weekday. We were charged around Rs. 1000/- per head and so expected that there would be at least some decent facilities for moderate fun and entertainment.
The main attraction in this resort is a small water park which they have created. Water sports was quite nice, especially the wave pool, water slides and lazy river. Apart from that, there were not many options. Indoor activities include archery, bowling alley, snooker etc. However, if you are late, none of these facilities would be available or you would end up waiting for nothing, The resort has some open space for small outdoor play activities like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball Volleyball, TT etc. They also have a small children’s play area which was even not maintained properly. Wash-rooms in this resort were stinky and very poorly maintained. Better to avoid using them if at all possible. Food was also a huge disappointment. Breakfast served was really terrible and inedible and lunch also tasted nothing great with limited options.
There is a lot of room for improvement in this resort and I’d definitely not recommend this place to anyone unless you don’t get availability in other resorts in Bangalore or you are somebody who is only looking to having fun in water sports(still far better option would be Wonderla, in my opinion).
