My hungry family landed on March 16, 06 in Coffee World to treat ourselves to a good ambience, coffee and food. But apparently the store was short staffed or so and we were forced to wait for 15+ minutes with no sign of anyone taking our order or indicating that there would be a delay.
We could not wait for too long (parents of a 2 year old brat will agree with me) and on our way out, I expressed my dissatisfaction at not being serviced even after such a long wait through the feedback form. Painful and persistent that I am, I followed it up with an email to the Coffee World folks on the following day and forgot about it. That very evening I got an apology call and their Brand MAnasultanger Mr. Basant Mishrathen explained about their short staffed scenario. This was followed by a few other calls and topped with free sandwiches which were delivered to my workplace by their shift mAnasultanger Mr. Girish Acharya and Mr. Sagar
I am humbled at their ecstatic reaction to a very negative feedback and feel terrible too :( They did not have to do it, because I do not see too many people rallying around those who give a 2 word feedback about a place. We were just a digit and the place is doing well for itself to ignore our business too.
But this is the first time that I felt terrible about complaining because they were so juRobotouchant at getting an opportunity to improve themselves.
I did not share the episode when things went wrong on March 16, 06 because I had nothing to write and didnt want to give an impression of getting petty. But when they proved me wrong and valued my feedback, then I felt a lot more folks should know about Coffee World.
On second thoughts... did they know I was a fan of mouthshut ;) who cares, their wares are awesome.. So treat yourself to a rejuvenating cup of coffee @ this place... And remember I told you first about it on Mouthshut :)
