I didnt know that there was a brand called ColorPlus till 2 years back. I knew Allen Solly, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen etc...
But one day, I saw their ad in a newspaper for E-tech checks and the colors were really awesome. So I went to the Colorplus showroom in Residency Road, Bangalore and bought 2 shirts. The colors were nice and they looked good as well. I got a lot of compliments from friends, colleagues etc.. Now I have a lot of Colorplus shirts in my collection and havent had any problems with the fabric so far. They have an amazing checks collection.......the best I have seen so far !!
Of course, there are some shirts like the ones in Abacus lines which look great in the advertisement but look like they are made of gunny bag material when you see them in the shop. It costs you 1720 bucks for a half sleeve shirt. Thats absolute bull !! I would advise you to see the fabric before you decide which one to buy. The E-tech fabric is good and so are the golf ball wash shirts.
Although their shirts are good, their trousers leave much to be desired. I bought 2 trousers and both of them faded within 1 year of purchase. I dutifully followed the instructions of mild detergent, cold water, medium wash blah blah but to no avail. The worst part is the trousers are something like 1800 bucks each.
So I feel that the trousers are a strict no-no unless you are getting them for free from someone ;-)
And BTW, the one I am wearing in the photo is Van Heusen.......even thats a pretty good brand !
