The rivalry between 2 food giants, Shegal Group of Industries, headed by Vinay Sehgal(Rajat Kapoor) and Marwah International, headed by Dharmesh Marwah(Raj Babbar) gets even more intense after disinvestment of a Public Sector food and bottling unit of the Maharashtra State Government is announced by Gulabrao(Vinay Apte) who is the state Minister for Finance. To acquire this Unit, the conservative Marwah obtain all means necessary to come over Sehgals who have joint collaboration with The World’s largest aerated drinks manufacturer, Friscon. The Vice President of SGI, Nishigandha(Bipasha Basu) and Vinay’s Brother in Law, Ritesh(Kaykay Memon) see to it that no stones are left unturned. When the Sehgal’s fail to aquire the PSU, they break all business ethics and go one step ahead of Marwah Group by getting the confidential data of their Rival company. When Marwah group finds that out, they decide to ruin the image of Sehgals by conducting raids in the rival company to buying out their management. Hard Look at the corporate sector globally. Good acting by the lead star case. Impressive script by Bhandarkar, Ajay Monga and Manoj Tyagi. Largely inspired from Shyam Benegal’s 1981 classic, Kalyug. Worth a watch.

1) Many Celebs have Cameos in the film. Prominent ones being Javed Akhtar, Prahlad Khakkar and Ashok Pandit.
2) The Pesticide incident is an obvious reference to the Food and Drugs authority of India findings of Pesticides in Popular cola drink Pepsi 3 years back. Back then even Coca Cola samples had pesticides found in them.
3) Aishwariya Rai was offered the role of Bipasha Basu.
