We had chosen June as our travel dates. They kept avoiding telling us the exact date saying it will be around the 11th or 12th of june. In mid March 2 days after they get our full payment they call us and tell us we need to travel in May(less than 12 days) because they don’t have enough people for June! So we had to reapply for leave and managed to get time off for the dates they ordered us to go on! We did not appreciate how they waited to get all our money to announce this so we pretty much had not much other choice!
TIckets were badly booked. They firstly gave us the wrong arrival dates in India and we booked domestic flights our of Bombay for the wrong date and incurred a loss of money when we had to rebook them. Also some of us go to the airport to learn our tickets were not properly booked. The airline couldn’t find our booking! We had realized there was a problem when we tried to web check in and we told C&K about it but hey said it is fine.
Food on the trip was TERRIBLE. They served Pubjabi food EVERY SINGLE DAY with the exact SAME MENU down to the dessert every single day! It was nauseatingly bad to have to eat the same food everyday.
In DC and some other cities they tried to skip out on some of the sights they had promised to show till people complained. This happened 3-4 times on the trip.
These are 4 of the main problems, there were many more. Please avoid C&K.
