Well, well, well. The issue is up again. Guess what the Aussies are talking. This looks a turner from Day 1. Well, the answer in typical Aussie fashion is , You are in India, mate.
Well for now, I think there should be no talk on pitches anymore. India is India, Australia Is Australia & England is England. And for God sake let is be so. Why pester with something thats going to take away a challenge & whats a game without a challenge.
To be Honest, the finest performance comes in the hardest condition. Its more so in cricket. Rahul dravid has hit a lot of centuries but his 148 at Leeds and 233 in adelaide stand out because they came in the hardest conditions.Who can forget the brilliant performance of Mathew Hayden in India during their last tour .He scored against all odds. Those odds make a performance great.
How will it be, if the pitches in Australia start to turn and Pitches in Srilanka start to swing. Anil Kumbles performance in Australia is a proof of performance against a big odd.He took 24 wickets and topped the wickets list on typical Aussie pitches, whereas no aussie bowler took 5 wickets in an innings. That speaks of extremely good batting by Indian batsmen as well. Well it is those memorable performances that we remember more.
It is also more idiotic to blame our batsmen for non-performance in their current season. There are days and there will be days. Non-performance over a longer period of time should be questioned. But I think the media has just started to expect this Indian outfit to win everything. It takes time to become a team like Australia. On personal front I think India will win this series and I also expect a cracker of a series. One can speak that Aussies will be given spin tracks, but every good performance in these conditions is worth the weight of gold.Good luck India, Good luck Australia!
P.S: - Best joke Ive heard in few days, Warne saying I will torment the Indians and Target Dravid. Well Good Luck Warnie.
