Travel To Cuba's Beach Resort Area: Beautiful San

Veradero may not be Rio De Janeiro, but it has its own sets or charms. Among are the resorts, the beaches, the constant sunshine and the people. Veradero is a beautiful place. In my mind, it is one of the richest cities of Cuba thanks to the tourism industry. If you intend to spend some time hanging around a pool and enjoying the Caribbean ocean, this is the place for you. Just know that you are not going to be close to Havana. Any time you want to go there, it will cost you some money. Going to Old Havana can be an exciting trip for you if you get the time to see some of the historic buildings.

On any given week, you can expect to find a lot tourists from European countries such as Germany, Belgium, France and so on. I think the Germans outnumber everybody else. Every now and then, you will run into some other nationalities. Despite the embargo set in place and kept by various US administrations, you will run into some Americans in some of the resorts. Some of them are there as cultural exchanges. Or they travel to Cuba through a third country. In most of the resorts, there is vibrant nightlife. To me, this was my best time ever as I got to meet and mingle with people from various countries. The Germans from Bavaria were great partyers. They knew how to have fun. They also knew how to drink and kick it with the local women. There was a large group of Belgian and French women dancing on the floors. A lot of them ended up enjoying the rums a bit too much. Be ready to witness a lot of make-out sessions on the beaches. Just give these tourists their privacy. One of the things you will run into is the fact that most of them tend to let down their guards and inhibitions. Two of the fellows in my group scored big time with two females. Love or lust seemed to flourish in such an atmosphere.

It seemed that everybody intended to make this Caribbean connection. While most of the men were eager to fall in lust with the beautiful local Cubans, the female tourists wanted to meet the guys. And there were quite a few of them that the women could pick from. Those who had access to the resorts that were often guarded by some security fared better. They were happy to be guides. On many occasions, a lot of guys from my group decided to break free from the formal schedule. We wanted to see what’s out there. So we ended up with an eyeful. It was a great time to be in that part of Cuba. It was my observation that lack of economic developments contributed to many educated, beautiful Cuban women being out on the streets peddling their assets.

If there is one thing I did not like was the in-your-face type of invitation or sollicitation by most merchants. If there was something I was interested in, I was ready to bargain. Don’t be fooled by the price they quote. You can always negotiate with them. Everything is negotiable down there.

So, all I have to say is for you to enjoy your next trip to the island and especially, Veradero! Enjoy the sun, the people and the food!
