Three words - ’Never buy Daikin’.
Let me explain why? - I bought two Daikin inverters 2.2tons a year before.
Both worked fine for a year though one of the AC cooling was not up to the mark.
However, we trusted this brand and did not take AMC. Exactly after a year and half, one of the ACs broke down – in the sense, it started giving noise like diesel motor in the indoor unit.
We called Daikin Customer Care – the ticket was allocated to one of their service agencies on the next day - nobody turned back for the service. We called again after two days they said the assigned agency has labor shortage hence they are allocating to another agency. Again, no one turned out and then we called them back and learned that the second agency refused to take the service order as it is too far from their location (Please note: we are living in Chennai, IT Highway, OMR).
We called again Daikin where they asked us to call Customer Care Chennai Head Mr. Sathyanarayana who tried couple of agencies and finally got one guy (!!!!!) called JAI AIR Systems. This person asked me to pay Rs750.00 as visiting charge and we paid too (!!!!) – of course they provided us bill.
The service person told us the motor, push and soft got damaged (I’m not sure how can it be damaged in a year) and needs to be replaced. They quoted me Rs 9, 000.00 + tax to replace all these parts.
Now, I have decided not to buy this company product anymore and I never suggest anyone to buy Daikin. NEVER EVER BUY if you want peace of mind.
