Director - Govind Menon & Vasant Chheda Screenplay - Vasant Chedda Dark thriller about an underworld accountant Nainesh (Ashutosh Rana) who lives with his mistress Unnati(Tara Deshpandey). They have been given order to ’’Clean’’ a suitcase full of blood-stained money. (Thus giving a whole new concept of money laundering). While the money has to be delivered to The Godfather (Played wonderfully by an old actor whose name I dont know) Unnati decides to keep the money to herself by hatcing a plan with local conman Saurav(Jas Arora). What follows is an entire days events which sees dead bodies, change in sides and lots of tensions about the suitcase full of money. Doesn’t let the viewere go till the final scene.
Wonderful movie with good performances by everyone especially Ashutosh Ranma. Largely reminds you of movies Like Reservoir Dogs (which is soon goiung to be remade in Hindi and tittled ’’Kaante’’), The Postman always rings twice. Wondeful background score by Whosane.
Psst - 1) One of those rare songless hindi movie. The producer and co-director Vasant Chheda wanted absolutely no songs in the movie as he felt that would have hampered the pace of the movie. Thus he decided to produce and release the movie himself. 2) Music Scorer Whosane makes a cameo in the final scene.
