Dell as per other users:
After surfing lot on net I’d understood Users were quite happy with Dell except two common problems everyone complaining. i.e.
1) It speakers were not very much audible.
2) With prolong use Touch pad becomes heated.
I still decided to go with it because of some great offer and resolved the above issues by
1) when Loud volume required connected mini amplifiers+ mini speakers bought from Nehru Place worth 800Rs.
2) Disabled the touch pad and connected external optical mouse.

5) Generally it would be delivered in one week through Blue Dart, only to the person whose name appears on invoice with an id proof, so try to be at home.
The only but a Major problem I faced:
Dell would provide only Windows Vista Home Premium, which has lots of bug even today, I unknowingly installed few softwares which were not compatible with Vista or I dont know what went wrong, One fine day within one month of purchase, while booting; my system gave an error "“BOOTMGR IMAGE IS CORRUPT, SYSTEM CAN NOT BOOT” and system crashed, I called customer care, since I was under one year full replacement warranty, they tried resolving it online, finally when not done, their franchisse replaced my crashed hard disk and one memory(1GB) at home at no cost. Its been one year since it is working absouletely fine.
Pros:
Robust machine, spectrum of vibrant colors, choice of finishes, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB jacks 4 nos, SD card slot, Express card slot, display out, genuine softwares with all installation CDs, Auto regular update of Windows/Antivirus/Dell products etc.etc.
Cons:
slightly heavier, low speaker, touchpad gets heated, while watching slides/movies viewers have to be perpendicular to LCD screen for clarity, Vista crashes with their Trend antivirus Software.
Conclusion:
Overall Dell is good choice, one has to come out from Desktop convention and should treat laptop little delicately. Do not over heat, do not block the vent, antivirus should be uptodate & care should be taken while installing new softwares which are not compatible with VISTA, Rest you will never regret buying this marvelous piece of engineering.
