Delta Air Lines has established a well earned reputation for Southern hospitality. Frontline personnel are very friendly, but are often hampered by corporate policy. In the interest of saving money, Delta has eliminated meals on all flights under 4 hours in length and charge passengers for headphones and drinks. Aircraft are cramped in Economy Class, but no worse than most other US carriers. BusinessElite class is exceptional on the MD-11 and 777 aircraft but not on the 767, where the seats are also cramped. US Domestic First Class is below the standards there, but their international service is much better. Services to BOM are operated with Indian cabin crew who understand passengers well.
