Devdas by Sanjay Leela Bansali is expected to be the biggest blockbuster of this year. To check the accuracy of this we will have to wait for another 3 months. Right now we have to keep ourself satisfied with its music. The music of Devdas has once again proved the capability of Ismail Darbar as a mesmerising music director. When I heard the album for the first time I almost fell asleep but after hearing it 3-4 times the music has grown on me so much that whenever I have access to my music player, I listen to nothing else but Devdas. Most hindi film albums have only one or two good songs but Devdas has got each song better than the previous one. Starting with ’’Silsila ye chaahat ka’’, the album gives you a taste of the classic music thats in store for us. Then comes the magical ’’Maar Dala’’ which leave you wanting for more which is answered fairly by the mesmerising ’’Bairi Piya’’. I’ll constrict my review to this and advice you to surely check out this album if you have good taste.
