We got DishTV after my parents got it and liked it. We use to go over and watch theirs and they had all these shows saved to watch. Well we looked into it and got it and it costs us the same as cable did. We got more channels and we got DVR.. Which I love. We have had it for about a year now. I can record a show and fast forward through the commercials.. I can save shows for my kids for at night when there is little on for their age group. If I get tired I can record something and watch it the next day even though I has already started it. We rarely watch tv the regular way anymore.
I do wish the had moive you could rent on the tv when you wanted not when they have them on. I do miss this.. and we have to order the movie online first. Thats a lot of work.. lolI do the the parents control block.. I can block out what channels or ratings I don’t want and I know the passcode if I want to watch anything I don’t want my 3 little ones to see. We have only lost signal once, during a really bad storm otherwise it has been great.I would totally recommend it if you don’t have time or miss your favorite show. Or if you want something for your kids.. love those parent controls.
