Buy it if you want it, don't if you don't!!

I bought a reciever and dish three years back when it was launched, for around 8, 000/-.As with any other corporate packaged product, you get some goodies and quite a few baddies. The bad feel inevitably  comes from your feeling that you were taken for a ride.

But then as these folks are not into doing charity you can’t expect all that you want.I wanted access to good channels because my local cable chap did not want to trouble himself laying a line to my house. I waited a year and when DISH TV came, I bought. But after I bought they slashed prices and I felt cheated. But then it is their business and what can I do?

Then they offer freedom of choice to pick channels to view, and put all the channels into different packs, to force you to buy all of them, but again it is their product, what can you do. You have the freedom to buy or not buy.

They give you a whole lot of channels, and loads of info. They give you games, and radio, etc. The product is good, so long as you give the all they ask for, but then they have invested lots of money, hoping to get lots of your money and you can’t really blame them.

And because there are not many other options, I continue with Dish TV. And even if other services do come, they are not also going into it for helping you and me, so I wouldn’t expect them to be too different either.
