I had bought it a couple of months back for 4000 rupees and shocked to see the quality of the picture and audio. They advertise it as digital quality, but here in TN(Kanyakumari) we get the worst signal which is no better than an youtube video. The audio is horrible and channels like HBO, Star movies are the much afected ones. I get a signal quality of 60% and inspite of repeated requests and complaints there is no help from Dish TV guys.
Now that they have an agreement with Sun network they are offering it for free to new customers with a reduced rate of 3000 rupees and 10 months free subscription. When we bought this connection Dish tv said that the entire package from dish network is free for 6 months but now they are charging money.
On top of everything they SPAM my mobile with SMS alerts which is of no interest to me. I do not care for hindi channels or Mr.Shrukh Khan’s suggestions which are often messaged to me. There seems to be no way out from the SMS spam. I tried their official site, blog etc but they seem to filter any bad views about them.
Frustrating is what I can say.
