Dominos came to chennai ages back, and has since, spead its wings through out the city.
This has made it possible for one to always be the vincity of a Dominos.
This mass expansion has resulted in Dominos going in for very small restaurants on a large scale. Out here in chennai, its hard to find a Dominos outlet with more than 3-4 tables.
This has resulted in a very cramped atmosphere in the outlets. One point to be noted is that not too many people are found in these restaurants.
One thing I do like about Dominos are the special offers they come up with. Usually, they have the Buy one, get one free offer. These makes the pizzas quite viable financially. ;)
Bout the food...the pizzas are piping out, and so are the other snacks available. The portions are similar compared to other outlets like pizza hut & pizza corner.
Music is alrite. About the service, you have to go to the counter & pay up before you get ur FOOD.
The Staff have nothin much to write home about. Service speed is normally efficient, but drops drastically for some items.
Reservations....dont think they are necessary. If you are planning way ahead about ur lunch or dinner, go in for Pizza hut which is much more spacious, at the same time have a very pleasant ambience.
hey, comin back to the food, the crust of the normal pizzas is more like Italian pizzas, and not like the thicker Indian ones.
Basically, if you r just looking for some good pizzas which r nice on your pocket as well, and r not bothered about ambience, go in for dominos. Else Pizza Hut is the place to be.
