I watched the movie " Don " today . There was a lot of hype created for the movie, and the ads created a motivation in me to go and watch out for the three heroines in the movie. Kareena Kapoor comes as a wave, does an item number and there ends her character, without much noise and publicity. Priyanka Chopra is supposed to be the heroine of the film , but displays more heroic traits than even Shah Rukh. The fight scenes between him and her portray that she is a kind of girl, who really sounds dominating ( of course, she practices martial arts in the movie ) . The cast of all the characters was good, but a lot more improvement could have made the film more special and attractive. There were too many characters, with too little roles to play. Almost all of them were carrying a pistol, with no real purpose. The film has kept any a viewer amazed , for it doesn’ t clearly reveal till a later stage that Shah Rukh plays double roles. The suspense part of the movie was good to the extent that the Villain adorns the role of a Police, which is little bit imaginative, though good to watch, till the last. The cinematography is good, as the film seems to have been shot in Malayasia etc. The songs and the music could have been more jazzy, for the film is supposed to be a thriller, and a heroic film. The role of Isha Koppikar is not known till the last, and she smiles away her part throughout. The movie surely didn;t make me glue to my seat or the screen, as there were some delays in the scenes, with the background music missing in some part , where it was very much required. A lot more editing, could have also saved on time, thereby captivating the attention of many a viewer. Finally, it could be said that the movie could be watched just for the sake of seeing Shah Rukh’s action and the fun of seeing three colourful heroines at screen.
