Indeed Agarwal Hospital is no good, My mother had a small black dot visible in one of her eye’s & we had taken her to Agarwal hospital for check up. They did several basic tests done & they collected Rs. 500 /- which is free in other hospitals & they also said they have to conduct more tests & it would cost around 3000/-
They claimed that both the eyes were in very bad condition , all the nerves were weak. They claimed cataract operation should be done immediately for both eyes where as my mother had problem only in one eye.
They informed us operation cost would be around 20, 000 per eye. The way the report was given & situation explained to us was that we were quite scared & we thought we had to do the operation immediately. But my mom insisted that her eyes were perfectly alright & her vision is good except for one problem.
Meanwhile I read review on the mouth shut & informed my family about conning by this hospital , we were indeed ready to shell out money to do the operation what ever it costed . Then we decided to take second opinion from other hospitals .
This time we took to Vivekananda hospital in Ulsoor which is Charitable hospital & they do not charge anything. The doctor their claimed that her eyes perfectly alright she should only use some drops for few weeks & she will be fine.
We were still not convinced & we decided to take opinion of St. John’s hospital , Koramangala . They tested my mothers eyes & said her eyes is perfectly alright the black dot is due to the fluid in the eye which some times will be visible this is purely due to age factor. They had just put some drops in the eyes & the black dot has become very feeble now.
ITS REALLY VERY BAD THAT DOCTORS WHOM WE ALL LOOK UPTO GETS TO THIS CHEAP CONNING & LOOTING PEOPLE’S MONEY. DR. AGARWAL YOU CAN EARN DECENT SUM OF MONEY BY DOING FAIR BUSINESS NO ONE WANTS CHARITY BUT ATLEAST TRY TO BE HONEST DONT LOOT HARD EARNED MONEY !!! PLS TAKE SECOND OR 3RD OPINION BEFORE DECIDING ON HEALTH ISSUES , THERE MUST BE SEVERAL AGARWAL’S LIKE THIS CONNING US.
