Just a quick note about EasyCabs:
I have booked Easycabs umpteen number of times, but was fortunate only twice. Rest of the times the response was that there is no cab available.They prefer trips to airport only. Rest of the trips, they won’t say cabs are unavailable, but you can expect a SMS an hour before the journey mentioning they have no cabs at that point of time. Got to know that this is because they want only airport drops/ pick ups. So, intercity commuters can strictly stay away from Easycabs.
Many a times, I have had similar experiences. The worst part is, even when they know for sure that the cab is not going to be sent (being a short trip), they won’t inform that to you. An hour before, they will send you the pre-planned SMS about cabs’ unavailability! The only good thing I could notice was- all the cars were well maintained!
