This is the worst part of any online shopping experience. Waiting for your goods to be delivered to you.
Recently my zippo’s flint got damaged and being unable to get it from any local shops in Gurgaon I thought of giving online shopping a try. Indiaplaza.in was the perfect place. I ordered the flint pack on 18th December, which was shipped on 23rd. I was happy with that kind of turnaround time for such a small thing.
But my happiness soon became a nightmare with repeted calls to the courier service handling the delivery part( Elbee Express Couriers).

And for the last 2 days I have been calling up the Gurgaon center to make the delivery of my shipment, but apart of promises of delivering it in 3-4 hrs time frame, I have not got anything.
Incedentlly I happened to check their site to check the transit time and this is what I got.

Delivery Date Wednesday, December 31, 2008
What an Irony !!!
To give the readers of ms the details of promises, the call chain and the promise is as follows :-
1) 26/12 - time 5 PM - got the response from Indiaplaza about the courier name and way bill no
2) 26/12 - time 5 PM - call to customer care of Elbee not successful. No one picked the call. I don’t know why the official time of the Elbee is mentioned as 9AM - 9 PM.
3) 27/12 - time 9AM - call to customer care - got a response that courier will be delivered before 2PM
4) 27/12 - time 2PM - call to customer care - got another promise that courier will be delivered by 6PM
5) 27/12 - time 6PM - call to customer care - got another promise( after some tough tone showed by us) that the courier will be delivered by 7:30 PM
6) 27/12 - time 7:45 PM - call to customer care of Elbee not successful. No one picked the call.I don’t know why the official time of the Elbee is mentioned as 9AM - 9PM.
I really don’t know why Indiaplaza switched from first flight( which was good, as I had used Indiaplaza on number of occasion and it was good) to elbee. Now I really doubt I’ll ever use Indiaplaza/Elbee again.
