I have to make this my final review(22-05-10) about this product, see all my previous reviews and updates below:
We recently had to move to NCR and I was thinking of getting replacement filters as it has been a year or more since I bought this product. But to my surprise, I cannot find replacement filters any where in the market and when I called Eureka Forbes they say this is not their official product and they give some other phone numbers. The representatives their say it costs around Rs. 500 to get new filters and one of their people will deliver it home. I asked them to get it and it has been five months and I am still unable to procure filters. I have finally discarded this filter and got a RO unit.
Never buy this product or anything from Eureka Forbes. It is a company run by trained conmen.

It has been only 6 weeks since I bought this piece of plastic and it has stopped working! We are just a family of two and we are nowhere close to their recommended usage for this to be broken. I cleaned the upper cartridge by back-flushing and did everything that was in the manual but still the water does not get through the filters anymore. This product is not listed in the Eureka Forbes web-page for me to register a complaint. I called their customer service number and they said it is a dealer product and the representative gave me two other numbers and also a mobile number of Mr. Ali(I live in Bangalore). To my dismay, none of the two land-line numbers work and Mr. Alis phone is always switched off! I hope this person really exits and this is not a new way of tricking consumers by big companies!
The dealer from where I got this says I should clean it well or bring it to his shop for a demonstration on how to clean. This would cost me another Rs.200 as I live in the outskirts of the city.
Anyway guys, I absolutely agree with the other four reviewers on this web-site. May be we should all file a complaint in the consumer court together to make it more effective and teach a lesson for such irresponsible companies making sloppy products and also getting away with it!

I am delighted to tell you that within a day of posting my complaint on mouthshut a representative from Eureka Forbes contacted me via M2M option and explained me that there is a bifurcation going on in Eureka Forbes and the products are getting divided between two companies therefore there is some confusion among customer service centers and their staff regarding which product belongs to whom. She promised me that somebody will visit our house and will rectify the problem as soon as possible. I will keep you posted on that.

UPDATE: 21-07-08
On Saturday(19-07-08) Aquasure servicing guy visited our house and cleaned the cartridge once again and showed me how to remove air-blocks. The filters are now working well and I am getting clean water once again! Victory to mouthshut.com!
