Today I purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 laptop from E-Zone, Metro Walk Rohini. I literally felt I have been cheated and robbed of my money. While showing me various laptops the salesmen told me about 3 freebies with the laptop - 1) TataSky connection, 2)Cordless Headphones, 3)Laptop bag. Actually laptop bag is a part of the standard equipment.
After having paid, I waited for 5 minutes before asking the guys about my TataSky connection details and the free headphone. What followed next took me 2 hours. *
First they told me that "Free Headphone" was a printing mistake. **I asked them if it was why havent they corrected it. They could not answer. I told them I was paying 50K not to have such a shopping experience. Their manager came and blamed it on Lenovo for not supplying headphones to them. Who was lying? The sales guy or the manager I dont now.
*They could not even tell me how I was supposed to get the tatasky connection!! **Will it be delivered OR Shall I call someone OR Do I need to pray to the God? Of course they told me of the hidden charges, but that is something I was anyways expecting. Finally all I got was a phone number of someone I should call up for the TataSky connection.
After wasting 2 hours I got them to write "Headphones pending" on my invoice.
*When I returned home I tried the laptop bag. It was too small. The fools couldnt even get the bag right.
Was their intention only to rip me off my money? Why cant even stored owned by giants like Future Groups provide basic customer satisfaction and maintain ethics?
I wouldnt have posted this here if anyone had the courtesy of apologizing and accepting responsibility for this. But this is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I am gonna pursue this to the fullest. I have lost all interest in this laptop and feel like throwing it away.
