I am a movie buff and I see almost all new movies. The cinema hall for my choice comes from ’Fame’ only. (To let you know ’Fame Adlabs’ is part of ’Fame’ group, and not ’Adlabs’ group).
Visiting there and watching movie is really a rich and fantabulous experience! Show timings are adjusted so that crowd does not become problem for viewers at ticket window (although this is unavoidable, since visitors come early also ;) ).
I like the way they talk with movie viewers - really cool. All members are well dressed so that you don’t need to find the correct person (which is not in most other theaters).
Can’t justify the reason, but tickets are bit costly and becomes more when movie is just launched (even more if distributed has priced high!).
It is very excellent service for Internet booking, Phone booking, SMS booking. I’ve only used phone booking (home delivery and same day advance booking with some ID). I’ve faced problems while booking on Internet and it always (most of the time) ends up with some .NET software exception. So, I could never book the tickets this way. I never tried SMS booking.
Food and beverages are really good and tasty. Yes, I would say they are a bit more costly. But the quality is superb! Unlike other cinemas (don’t like to name) in Mumbai, they serve fresh items.
Oops, I forgot the most important thing: Screen!
It is simply awesome, fantabulous, superb, astounding! Screen is very big and every part is very clear and clean - be it the top right or bottom left. Sound is very amazing. But like anywhere else, you need to be in middle to get perfect sound. the two-door system at entrance avoids outer light to reflect inside - since the moment you come to next door, you’d close the another one (automatically :P ).
