Fame Gurukul has no focus and orientation about its own end. I don?t know what has been the aim of this programme - to promote talent or show inhouse fights and politics. Am very disapppointed in the manner in which the show has progressed. Now with many of the good singers gone - the programme does not have the same appeal in any case.
Besides whatever two or three good singers are left - their image is also being downgraded by Sony by showing too much gossips and critical reactions. The objective of the programme should have been to promote musical talent (singing) but I don?t know where it is heading. I understand the frustration of the deserving contestants about Qazi and his continued presence. I personally would have like to see Shamit, Arijit or Mona at this stage rather than Qazi.
My ideal two would have been Mona and perhaps Arijit but since neither is there, I would like to see Arpita and probably Rex in the final. Arpita because she sings very well and has the personality for being a star on stage performance; Rex (although he irritates with his overacting and hyper reactions) because he is a very very talented and well rounded singer and a great stage artiste.
Why I wouldnt like to vote for Qazi is because he lacks the ingredient of having great singing abilities - he can entertain with stage shows and good sense of humour but not with singing. Sometimes he goes so wayward with singing that it baffles me as to how he has managed to reach this stage.
