The Movie from Start to end is fully dominated by Amitabh Bachchan the Story is in regards to Two Families who can go to any limits to fight for their family members. The movie deals with crime, underworld, The Good Family and the Bad Family.
The Main theme which I feel Rajkumar wanted to show in this movie was all FAMILY, members have to protect each other or be together in their bad times or Good times. They have all the powers to challenge anything and everything that comes in their way.
The Movie starts showing Two Different Families Headed by Viren Sahai [Amitabh Bachchan] and Shekhar [Akshay Kumar]. Viren (Underworld Don) cannot see any of his Family members in danger nor anybody trying to raise hand against his Family name. He will use all his high level contacts to save them. Viren family Consist of his Wife Shernaz Patel, (Simple life and Hates the work which Viren Does) His son (Sushant Sing) who is following his footsteps. His Daughter, a Daughter in Law and a Grand Daughter (5 years old) .The Second Family of Shekhar a Simple Middle class Family Loves to stay with his parents with no high expectations. His parents want him to get married as fast as possible and he owns a Fast food Restaurant. His Brother (Aryan- Aryeman) fully pampered by Shekhar and over protected. He hates to work and feels if he is in Danger Shekhar will always protect him. He makes loses what ever work he starts and Shekhar will always protect him and pay off his loss but he cannot see him Hurt and will also fight for him. Both this families are different and have nothing in coman.
Shekhar Meets Bhumika in his Restaurant and falls in love with her and they get married. One Day Aryan has a fight at home and leaves Home with his friends. Shekhar goes to look for him at his Regular Point (IMAX WADALA). Viren had also come there to kill Kader Khan to take his revenge. As Viren was trying to kill Kader Khan he also Kills Shekhar. The Movie from this stage is all about how Aryan takes his revenge with Viren for his Family. Viren Sahai is very powerful sophisticated gangster and Aryan a coman man with one Aim in life to Kill Viren Sahai.
The Movie has Blood and More Blood then true love for the Family. I doubt even the Underworld would not have seen so much Blood as Shown by Raj kumar Santoshi.
The Movie is not a Family movie and only for persons who are Die hard fan of Amitabh or you like to see Blood in the movie they can watch this Movie. After Amitabh Aryeman has given a Good performance, hope his carrier does not end as Karan Sharma. The movie holds it’s Grip from start to end and has a good ending but lots of unwanted fights and blood could become a negative factor for this movie. Akshay Kumar looks Old and has a small role to play. The Songs of the Movie are Ok not Bad.
