Gosh! Why it isn’t 5 worst channels? I surely would have been:
1) DD National
2) DD Metro
3) DD Sports
4) DD This
5) DD That
But it isn’t. I am here to be optimistic. I must give an honest opinion of my favourite 5 channels. Here is the countdown:
5) Channel V : I think this channel has scored over MTV, to be true. They provide good English numbers, instead of the same Hindi songs that are repeated on numerous other channels. Coke V Popstars is great as well.
4) Star Movies : I am a movie buff, and these days Star Movies is showing great movies. They have started interactive television by providing YouPickTheFlick.com on Wednesdays. Keep up the good work, Star.
3) AXN : With loads of reality shows like Ripley’s Believe it or not, Scariest Places on Earth, Survivor, Amazing Race, Amazing Videos, Fear Factor, etc., AXN has really captured some hours on my TV Set. Thursday horror movies are good and so are the action movies. You better watch this channel.
2) Discovery : Loads of informative programmes makes this channel stand out. I loved their series ’’The Human Body’’, which showed a journey of human life. Medical Detectives was a terrific programme. By starting Discovery Kids, they gave a lot to young ones. My favourite on this channel is ’’Lonely Planet’’, as I am a Travel Buff. I like it the most when it is hosted by Ian. Cafe Digital and Splat are my other favourites.
1) HBO : Take this. An another movie channel, which I bet is a touch better than Star Movies. They have a great line-up of movies coming up. The crystal clear pictures are really appreciative. Great work HBO.
