Unfortunately ordered from Food Panda last weekend and the experience reinforces my view that online food ordering is not for this highly unorganized sector of restaurants.
I ordered food on 17th July evening at around 4 pm from Food Panda website and Sandrich Restaurant in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The food was not delivered on the day of order as there was a power cut in the area. Next day, I called them for at least 10 times to get the order delivered.
They took close to 3 hours. Each time I would call, they asked me to repeat the order and my address and every different person answering the phone had no clue of the order. They refused to deliver 2 Strawberry Milkshakes which I ordered, saying it is not available. Instead, they delivered one Mango Milkshake and another Sitaphal Milkshake which were obviously leftovers of the previous day and were stale which gave us an upset stomach for next 2 days. Tried connecting to Food Panda during this ordeal and did not yield success either on their call centre or Chat. After waiting for around 10 minutes on line, the call was abruptly cut. Chat window had 45 people in Que before me. Terrible first experience with these guys. Beware. They have schemes with heavy discounts in place to lure you into ordering and left at the Mercy of the local mismanaged restaurants.
