I have purchased the fusion 2 months ago. There is no doubt that the car is awesome to drive. The best thing about the car is it has a wonderful pickup, extraordinary AC, and decent seating space for a hatchback.
Speed
The car at 100 Kmph does not look to be at that speed. Seems effortlessly picking upto that speed. Although not driven beyond 100, it appears it has enough power to go much beyond.
Interiors
Ordinary interiors, but good enough. Looks are tough. Door handles are convenient. There are back seat handles nicely positioned. Cabin light is bright and there are separate left and right front map reading lights. The best thing is the lights are controlled by door keys. They are automatically switched on when door lock is opened and remain on for 2 minutes. They shut off as soon as ignition key is turned on. This I think is wonderful ingeniuous design.
Road manners
Shock-ups are excellent at higher speeds. However low speed ride on bumps is shaky. Due to the good ground clearance of 198 mm, the car really flies past high bumps without grazing its belly. Got fed-up of my honda city grazing the speedbrakers.
Space & seating
Leg space is great. Back seating is high and spacious. Luggage space is pretty decent. You can fold 40% of seats for more space. 40/60% folding is available. Which means if you are picking up someone from airport or railway station, you can have one member seated at back set and still fold the remaining 2 seats. Thats great.
Overall
The car is value for money. Not a small car. Not a SUV. Not a sedan. A mix of all of these. great to drive on your own. A great car !
