Have been using Freshtohome for online orders for last 6 months in Navi Mumbai. I must say that I am completely happy with all of their orders and it has been my sole source of fish purchase all this while. Being from a coastal region and knowing what fish is all about, I can make out the freshness of fish easily. Have tried numerous fish markets in Navi Mumbai, but was disappointed every time, deciding never to visit each of the market where I tried. But once I came across Freshtohome experience, have never stopped buying from them. The fish is Fresh and I really mean it is very FRESH. Couple of times, I have found some mixed deliveries but this is acceptable as it wasn’t spoilt but not 100% as expected. Their pricing is slightly on the higher side if you compare local markets, but then I am ready to pay for the guaranteed freshness which is most important.
Only complaint which I frequently raise with them is thickness of slices of Seer Fish. The slices are too thick. In local market, may be one piece of freshtohome Seer Fish will be 3 slices. They have never come back to me on this query. The reviews on mouthshut I see are too negative for this company and seemingly given by people who are competitors or written just one review. Of course there will be some genuine reviews with bad experiences which are justified considering the scale of the company, people and geographies it serves. People usually write here after bad experiences, but I thought I can try my bit by writing something positive with a real experience.
