I booked the taxi 48 hours in advance. I had asked for an Indigo(which is listed in their website). They took the request. Just just half an hour before starting, another Indica driver called me and said there is no Innova available, it is either going to be his car or none, and asked me whether I want to take the deal. Fk, do I even have any other option to arrange for alternatives at 5:15AM when I wanted the car to be home at 5:45AM. I told him that I am totally pissed off as they didn’t take my request correctly, but also chose not to tell it to me. I am sure the driver would have got his agenda the previous day itself, but those aholes chose not to tell us.
Then comes the worst - remember it was an outstation booking and already I got a smaller car and seating was quite uncomfortable for 4 passengers. The car never could be put on the 5th gear. It was just a broken piece of s*t and could never go beyond 65kmph. Throughout the day I was afraid when it was going to break down, and the travel being outstation on a NH road, you wont have mechanics if it does. Thankfully it didn’t. Yes our schedule got messed up big time and we were sitting uncomfortably, but we did make the trip.
At the end, we had completed 286km for which according to the website charges he should have taken Rs.2302. He started bargaining that we need to give Rs.2800 for no real reason. Then I shouted at him and could bring it down to Rs.2600 and lost Rs.300 unnecessarily for a shitty experience.
I would never take this anytime, and I would certainly not recommend any of my friends to use such a crappy service. One good thing I should mention is that the car was just 15 minutes late when he arrived - which was OK because we know about these guys and expected them to be at least half an hour late.
