I wont call the company a fraud. Religare is a well known company and occupies a decent position in the market. What I mean is, they should improve their customer focus. Dear dhiraj1681, For a 50 year old guy, you need to pay Rs.27250 as premium for Amulya jeevan for 25L insurance. At the same time Jeevan anand asks you to pay Rs.171325 which is around 6.3 times as that of Amulya Jeevan. Do the math yourself, and you will concur with what I have said.
Hi anilbatra, I know I havent given any proper numbers. I have given only an approximate number. Accurate numbers will make the calculation look difficult even for readers.

I dint get any acknowledgement from IT dept. It has been more than a month now. When I logged into their site, the status has changed to RECEIVED. Dear kschandraganth, your calculation is wrong. Even if you opt LIC itself, instead of going for a single payment, put your 1.64L in a FD. You will get more than 13K every year assuming 8%. Take half of it and pay the premium, and pocket the rest half. At the end you will have your initial money and read more...
