Digicam with 6X OPTICAL zoom, but no manual contro

I was looking for a 4x digital camera and my budget was Rs 10000. I came across this camera and really liked it. Here are the details:

The biggest feature on the 3800 is undoubtedly its 6X Fujinon zoom lens. The lens is threaded and you can add conversion lenses.

The FinePix 3800 is a well-built, mostly plastic camera. The dimensions of the camera are 3.9 x 3.0 x 2.7 inches (W x H x D), and it weighs 295 grams empty. It’s not a small camera by any means and probably won’t fit in your pocket. At the same time, it was never a burden to carry around.

Photo quality is amazing. I took some snaps at home and outdoors, some of the shots turned out to be as good as a professional SLR camera.

Pictures taken with 3 Mega pixel resolution looked pretty good on photo quality paper (8 by 11 inches). Tonal range was good as well.

Make sure that you buy good rechargeable batteries (2000 MAh or more) like most digital camera this one is hungry for power.

Overall a good camera for occasional use. Definitely not a professional camera.
