First time in 1995 we had purchased a whirlpool (Then TVS) fully automatic washing machine....
If only we had decided to stay loyal with the brand and not changed our mind when the sales person pitched for the Godrej FA when we ventured out for buying a new machine as TVS was old enuf to be replaced. It has cost us dearly.
While the Godrej machine was good to us till now...just when the warranty period (of 2 yrs) is about to expire next month, the machine (which is loyal to its manufacturer) and not to its owner has Konked off.
and the after sales service guys know well how to keep delaying the service till the time the warranty will be expired and then ofcourse they would charge us.
not that even if warranty exist they wouldnt charge us for any spare part to be replaced...still then...shouldnt the company people/ service guys understand the plight of the customers....how long can one wait for a service personnel from the company.
i am not writing this because I am being paid by the mouthshut team for best/worst review......best review (so that it cautions others) ...and worst review (about a product /company which doesnt live upto expectations.....
i stay away from home and things like this which are paining my parents get on to my nerve as I stand helpless and keep hearing that service guys are not responding even after several reminders from my parents. And that too in Delhi.....SR Num: 60002030 (if any company guy is reading this pls respond)
Godrej would not loose anything if the repair work is delayed for one month or more...
but people like us would definitely make it a point to advice or caution others regarding the quality of service rendered by them.
and also keep regretting why did we choose Godrej at all....!
