yes very true. Same happened to us. invested 50000/- and after three years gettiing 34000/-. Ravi is right it is the agent who would have misled, and that is because their bonus is linked to the number of policies they sell and number of people they dupe...that is why so much churn also happens i read more...

neither do they make alternate arrangements, nor do they inform about other options. all they tell you is that they will refund the full amount and suggest booking a flight at some other peak time which obviously would be by then twice the original booking amount.
