The film stars n a light note, but grips u as it goes by, and returns to haunt you again later. This was a class film, starringg Padmini Kolhapure, Dr.Shreeram lagoo, Anant Nag etc.
The film is about a happy household.a house of 4 people..the father, mother, brother and a lil sister.This film is made a la exorcist style, but without the special effects..but still as scary, thanx to the taut direction and gripping performances.
Padmini, acting as the lil sister of Anant nag, suddenly starts behaving oddly..This behaviour of hers worsens. When the house servant indicates, that she has been possesed, the father scoffs at the very idea. Inspite o various tests, at different hospitals, her condition deteriorates. At the behest of the servant (since they have tried every other option), her brother and mother go to a tantrik (exorcist). He comes home and detects, the presence of something evil.But alas, he too is a devil in disguise. He happents to be a follower of the black arts, and wants her to be his tool in his quest for more black powers. She is rescued..
Then one day when she is possesed, she spews venom on her father and blames him for her death.
What hapens theron is something to be seen. Me describing it would just be belittling it. So friends, if you get a chance to se this film, see it. It seems slow at times, but it is worth your while.
